Summit Safety Group has served Springfield businesses for over 20 years by making their sites and facilities safer and more OSHA compliant. As with all businesses, they’ve had to find ways to evolve. Safety consulting is no different.

The core of the Summit Safety Group’s services is onsite compliance and face-to-face training, Jake Woolfenden, the owner of Summit Safety Group, shares, “we understand the demands placed upon employers, HR managers and safety managers. With ever-increasing production demands, expansion of field crews across the country, and high turnover, the ability to provide OSHA-compliant safety training is severely lacking. The current gaps in providing potentially life-saving knowledge are just too great for most companies.”

These gaps in training is where Summit Safety Group has stepped up to provide a new service called “Safety Consulting NOW.”

Safety Consulting NOW by Summit Safety Group is an OnDemand safety training platform where each user will gain unlimited access to a library of core OSHA trainings. This Netflix-style platform can be accessed anywhere, and on any device an employee has connected to data or internet. It also provides top-notch OSHA consulting services that can be utilized via video chat, email or phone.

Combining the highly successful one-on-one safety consulting model with this one-click access to an extensive video library of training videos will equip businesses with all the tools needed to provided effective and successful safety training and support.

Jake continued, “It’s no secret the digital age is upon us, and as a result, there’s so much our team of consultants can do to reach employees where they are, and do so in an engaging way. We can digitally be onsite with an employer and answer their questions on the safety of their project or facility in real-time, without ever having to step foot onsite.”

Though he acknowledges the importance of their core business model of being physically onsite, he believes this is one more way to keep people safe. He goes on to share, “We have a strong desire to keep our clients safe and therefore protected from the vast number of OSHA regulatory requirements they’re subject to as well. We already offered numerous tools an employer needs to help them succeed in their safety program. This platform just happens to add a big one to that growing list.”

Jake Woolfenden leads Summit Safety Group with a personal level of compassion for safety. He was touched by the harsh realities of workplace injuries when his father had a near death accident on a construction project several years ago. He saw the physical and psychological struggles that resulted from this injury and the years it took his father to recover. Jake and his team use countless experiences like this to fuel their purpose in educating the workplace on the value of life and all things safety.

The addition of the on-demand safety training, Safety Consulting NOW, creates instant access to vital information that will prevent workplace incidents and potentially save lives.
